YouTube supports scheduling video uploads directly to connected YouTube channels.

Supported Post Types

• Video (video): A video post published directly to the channel's video list (Standard Videos or Shorts).

Media Technical Requirements

Videos

• Supported Formats: MP4, MOV, AVI, WMV, FLV, WebM (MP4 with H.264 video codec and AAC audio codec is recommended).
• Maximum File Size: 256 GB.
• Video Duration: Maximum 12 hours.
  • Note: If the connected YouTube channel is not verified, uploads are restricted to a maximum duration of 15 minutes.
• Recommended Aspect Ratio: 16:9 for standard horizontal videos, or 9:16 for vertical YouTube Shorts.

Text & Metadata Limits

• Video Title (title): Maximum 100 characters.
• Video Description (description): Maximum 5,000 characters.

When scheduling posts to YouTube, you can configure the following YouTube-specific fields inside the additionalInfo object of the request body:
